Wow is that isn’t Real Wood?

I recently helped a client with a fireplace mantel makeover. My client did not like the look of the fireplace in her new home’s office.

We explored many different options like replacing the whole thing with a new mantel or covering part of what was there with some new facing. Both options were more than what she wanted to spend and she was having a hard time visualizing what it would look like.

Thanks to the wonderfully talented Inga Belozerova of Michelangelo Decorative Painting, this fireplace got its transformation with paint! Inga was able to make it look as though the mantle was made of real mahogany to match the office furniture.

It looks so real it will have you believe it is real wood and was always that way! The right solution for the job done with the right people can transform you home into a place you love.
