Why I Love CR Laine

When I set out to find an upholstery company whose line I felt proud to carry and offer to my interior design clients, there was an overwhelming amount from which to choose. The process of elimination came through for me to narrow it down the top choices. Upon further research and inspection during my trip to High Point, North Carolina, it became clear that the best company I could offer was CR Laine.

I was impressed with everything that CR Laine had to offer, and the decision about which company to invest in became clear. There is a whole list of winning attributes that won me over: their frame styles go from traditional to modern – there is something for everyone; the fabric selections is extensive; the catalog is organized in a beautiful and easy-to-use way; the prices are 20% less than comparable competitors like Hickory White; and the cherry on top is the lifetime warranty.

I love so many things about CR Laine as a company. Every piece in their line is remarkably comfortable. I love the fine tailoring of each and every detail, and they remain on the cutting edge of style. They also provide a wonderful, personal touch to every piece of furniture they make by attaching the signatures of all the craftspeople who made that piece of furniture. It’s rare in this mass-produced world to see that there is pride in handmade items. Especially when those things are made in America.

My clients and I are thrilled with CR Laine. I recommend them with full confidence.

  1. Hi. I recently purchased Two CR Laine chairs in Snyder- flax. I am very happy with the chairs but I have one concern, the fabric has had several pulls and nubs. I understand the nature of the fabric is to have small nubs. I’m ok with that, but the pulls are worrisome. I’ve tried to tuck them in and it’s impossible. I’m wondering if I should cut them. In the photo the sofa appeared to be similar to Snyder. Will you let me know if it is and if so how the fabric is wearing. And, if you’ve experienced the same issues.
    Thank you, Audrey Bibbs

    1. Hi Audrey! Its hard to say since I’m not sure which fabric you picked. Some fabrics have nubby textures and that is part of the fabric, and there are some fabrics that pull easier which could give you “nubs”. Have you asked the place you purchased your chairs from about the fabric issue? I would start there, however if you would like me to look into it I would be happy to email my sales rep.
