What’s New What Next
I’m always interested in attending major design events, especially when they are in NYC. Living within an hour of one of, if not the absolute greatest city in the world has its perks. I jumped at the chance to attend the “What’s New, What’s Next” event at the New York Design Center located at 200 Lexington Ave. It was a full day of design inspiration, celebrity appearances and special presentations mixed with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. What’s not to love?!
There’s nothing like seeing the incredible selection of furniture, lighting and accessories firsthand. The list of showrooms can even seem overwhelming when first entering the New York Design Center. The NYDC offers some of the best, well-known manufacturers and a fantastic selection of small boutique lines.
The trip was very inspirational, as you can see from the completely unique use of material to the bold finish colors on a classic dresser.
