Trends come and go and sometimes they come back again. Just like fashion if you live long enough you’ll see the popular style of your youth come back as if it were brand new. I laugh when I see all the Day-glow florescent colors people are now wearing. I remember when it was popular for me as kid in the 80’s. Well, that’s not the only thing that is back from that decade: Gold is back as the finish color of choice!
Gold has been a classic throughout history and it is definitely back on top again. The Gold standard lived as the reigning finish choice for at least two decades before chrome and (later) bronze took over as #1. Gold is back on top and I love how it is being used. It looks great with dark wood finishes and gold is equally as stunning on white furniture.
