I like showing my clients all their floor plan options even the ones I don’t think work well, because together we go over the pros and cons of each option in order to choice the best floor plan for them. Understanding the “why” in your decisions gives you confidence to know you make the best choice. There are usually a few different ways to layout your furniture and finding the right one for you is personal.
These floor plans were the 3 options my clients were presented for their family room.
Option 1- The winning floor plan.
This one was chosen because it offered the most seating as well as clearly separating the room into designated areas while also looking the best design wise.
Option 2- Was a close second but felt cluttered with too many pieces of upholstery. One large piece is often better than a bunch of smaller pieces.
Option 3- Was quickly eliminated since it’s the weakest design and limited the function of the room as well. My clients however liked seeing the option because they knew that was not the way to go and only strength their resolve in their choice.
I feel it’s important to spend a little more time with my clients to show them all the options so they know why the floor plan we chose together is the best option for them.
