Good New For Divorced People-When one door closes, another will open, and it will need decorating.

Good News for Divorced Peopledivorce cake

With the divorce rate in America over 50%, there are a lot of people who are finding themselves starting over again.  The design clients that I have worked with who are recently divorced have discovered that starting over can be the best thing that has ever happened to them.

The good news about divorce is that you get a brand new start, and it’s all about you now!  You can design a whole new life for yourself.  By letting go of the past, you can embrace the positive and move forward.DSC_2693

The process of redesigning your space can be very therapeutic.  If you had always wanted a totally feminine room showered in pink with a mirrored vanity and white plush chair in which to cozy up, then it’s time to make that happen!  Or maybe it’s time to get that leather sofa, Giant flat screen TV and a comfy recliner to call your own.family room

Divorce translates into a new beginning.  When one door closes, another will open, and it will need decorating.

  1. I agree that there is always a blessing in disguise behind everything that has happened. You just need to be mentally prepared for what is to come next, be it for the better or worst. If you learn to accept fate and let go of the past, then everything will definitely go your way, finally. Redecorating is indeed very therapeutic as you see your home being transformed into your own personal haven according to your taste and preference. Be it stained glass windows or transparent screen doors, you get to decide.
