Personalized Mural to Last a Life Time
As an artist and designer I appreciate art and its effect on a space. I have recently collaborated with a brilliant artist whose focus is murals to transform a large wall that otherwise had no purpose. My client didn’t quite know what to do with the awkward second story landing wall, but I saw a great opportunity for a mural.
I meet with Inga Belozerova of Michelangelo Decorative Painting to find the perfect solution for this wall. Inga is classically trained and has a true artist eye for detail, so I knew this would be the perfect fit for my client’s project.
We quickly came up with the subject matter of the mural by looking through Inga extensive portfolio book for inspiration. The mural design is a very personal and special in nature to my client as it depicts the castle where they were married. We choose to use a monochromatic color scheme so that it would be soft and subtle. The scene is that of a landscape with the castle in the background.
The client requested that the center mural be removable should they ever need to move. Inga did an amazing job on this wall and the client has a personal piece of artwork to keep forever. This gorgeous mural totally transformed this wall and therefore the whole upstairs space.
