Love Where You Live
“Love Where You Live” is so much more than Artistry Interiors’ catch phase; it is my mission in life. It’s as vital as the air I breathe. It may sound overly dramatic, but then ask yourself: how important is your peace of mind? Have you ever noticed that your surroundings are a reflection of yourself? Most people might not connect their messy desks and their feelings of being overwhelmed, but I assure you, they come from the same place.
Your relationships with your space and furniture are similar to your relationships with people. There are some who you love, because they are comfortable to be around, they encourage you to pursue your dreams, and they just make you feel good. Then there are those who are annoying to be around, because their energy is negative and chaotic, and it feels like you’re being sucked down with them.
Your house, each room and each piece of furniture has a personality, a lot like people. Some pieces will get along with one another while others will fight; some furniture is loud while others may be quiet.
Your room could be full of pieces that don’t go well together and barely function and be set up in an awkward way that leads you to avoid the room – the same way you would avoid the annoying guy at your office.
Loving where you live means that you are comfortable, your furniture works well together in look and feel to create harmony, and it’s your best friend with whom you want to spend more time. It means that everything functions to serve you and make your life easier. Loving where you live will change your life.
