Good design is in the details. It’s all the little things woven together that make up the big picture, and this is what takes a room from ordinary to extraordinary. Details like tassel trim on a pillow and nail head trim on the base of a wing chair bring the design of your room to the next level.
These distinctive, carefully chosen details create the structure of the room and help the elements of the room blend into a well thought-out design. It’s like composing a piece of music, where each instrument is essential to meld the perfect balance of sounds. Take away an instrument or a few chords, and the song will lack the depth it needs to be successful. Without the trim or other details, a room looks as though each piece was simply purchased and plopped in your home. Never under estimate the importance of custom details.
