Calming the Bathroom Clutter
Bathrooms are small, yet they’re busy and essential parts of your home. As such, they often end up cluttered, making organization key to keeping control. My designer tips for calming the bathroom clutter are to have a coordinated color scheme and keep it simple. When you’re buying your bathroom accessories, only buy the essentials, instead of everything in the “set”. Keep it simple, and avoid the cutesy stuff that you will grow tired of in a short time.
Think of your bathroom as a hotel spa. If you have the space, arrange an extra towel, or roll up spare towels and display them in a basket. Keep your surfaces as clean and clutter free as possible by having small pieces of furniture and containers for storage. If you can tidy up and keep the area clutter-free, getting ready in the morning won’t seem like such a chore. You may even have more time to relax before running out the door to start your day.
