I’m Heather McManus—an award-winning Interior Designer and author of the book, Love Where You Live - Dream Homes Made Real, available on Amazon. Each chapter of my book shares real life stories of clients: why they called me, how we created their dreams home, and all the funny things that happened along the way.

I started Artistry Interiors in 2012, after a decade of working in the interior design industry.  My first job after graduating Pratt Institute, was at a high-end workroom. That experience was invaluable for learning everything about how quality window treatments and upholstery are made. I went on to work at a several fine furniture stores (Ethan Allen and Bograd’s Fine Furniture), broadening my knowledge and expertise about furniture construction and quality.

Your home is not a museum and I strongly believe every room can be beautiful and functional. As an animal lover myself I understand the challenges of pet hair and the importance of kid-friendly, stain-resistant fabrics.  I currently have three rescue cats that shower me love which, for me, is an easy trade off to a little more vacuuming!
