Wayne Magazine Feature
It has been my honor and privilege to have been featured in Wayne Magazine a few times. Wayne Magazine is great local NJ Magazine that covers the latest restaurants and hot spots, as well as show cases some the areas noteworthy homes.
Wayne Magazine featured my home in their Fall 2012 issue, with an article called “Design Begins at Home”. It was a wonderful peek into my home and life, all within four pages. Carol Bott Jarger wrote “McManus’ personal style is eclectic. “It’s all about getting the right balance of things. I’ll take something a little retro and add in a little traditional,” she says.” With the world getting smaller, we’re influenced by other cultures, and that’s why we mix styles. We’re also nostalgic for the slower pace, a longing I see when people choose nostalgia décor,” she explains.”
Then in their Spring 2013 issue I was in their headline again, with an article called “Damage Control”, which out lined my Hurricane Sandy Design Rescue. Wanting to help the best way I know how, I created an offer for 5 victims of the storm to have free design services. My hope was to help rebuild both their homes and their spirits as well.
