I love window treatments and happen to be very good at designing them, award winning in fact, so when I meet a new client with the fear of window treatments I am delighted to change their mind.
I start the process with showing clients my “window treatment bible” which is a large inspiring book I made of every type of style you could image. Together we narrow down the search of style to one or two ideas. We also chose from a curated hand full of beautiful fabrics and trims which will coordinate with room.
Then begins the designing by using photographs of my client’s windows and then taking tracing paper to draw to scale a custom design treatment that I feel would be right for the room, given our previous selections. This allows my client to see what their windows will look like before anything is ordered.
Once we have every detail worked out and signed off my local seamstress works her magic to create my custom design. This creates a one of a kind, made only for you window treatment.
Window treatments complete a room, add softness, color, pattern, texture, and height. A room without window treatments is a naked room.
