Does Decorating Your New Home Feel like You are Trying to Eat a Whole Elephant?

Does Decorating Your New Home Feel like You are Trying to Eat a Whole Elephant?elephant2  If you have recently moved and upgraded your house to a larger beautiful new home you maybe be feeling like “now what” when you look around at all the empty big rooms.  First of all, congratulations on buying your new home, and secondly it’s time to get some expert help!

As I interior designer I hear from new clients all the time they feel overwhelmed by their new large home.  They will have tried to go shopping for furniture on their own but quickly realize that they can’t get the scale right.  They are even to intimidated to pick paint colors.  One of my most recent clients said she felt like she was “trying to eat a whole elephant”, and told her husband who just wants it done, she would need design help.before-and-after-Fagan-1024x443

If that sounds familiar my advice is of course hiring an interior design so that you don’t make costly mistakes and the process is stress free.  Also give yourself a break!  You are not a trained designer with years of experience and know how.  We all have gifts that we were born with, and decorating is mine gift.  You can probably spell and do math way better than I can, and I am OK with that.  I have a book keeper and an account to help me do my job better, it is not my strength so I hire help.before-after-family-rm-1024x355

My interior design packages start at only $547and go up gradually in price with each package that includes more design help.  You deserve to Love Where You Live!  Hire an interior designer to help you get there.
