2015 Pantone Color of the Year

Every year Pantone announces the color of year, and the color for 2015 is called Marsala.  It’s a beautiful brownish red with a hint of plum mixed in.  This year’s most popular color was selected by the taste makers in the fashion and interior design world, and recognized as the up-and-coming color by Pantone.2015-color

As it so happens, I designed a living room inspired by this color in 2014.  The room design also won Second Place in a national window treatment competition.Mendham and Kinnelon Residences

Inspiration is everywhere, especially when you look for it.  There are hundreds of ways to add this color into any room of your home, but here are a few examples of products I find quite handsome:2015-hot-trends

Whether you dedicate a whole room to this hot color or just pop it in a small accent piece, it’s beautiful!
